“ Fantastic restaurant. Delicious food, friendly knowledgeable staff. Best food we’ve had in Italy. ”
“ Weekend in Castelgandolfo and delicious food, what’s better? Tinello is a fairly new bistrot here but they certainly know how to serve incredible food. Small menu like I love, with starters, mains, I had the fettuccine with finferli and tomatoes on the side, fresh fish and meat options , my husband had the diaphragm with potatoes and mustard sauce with aubergine as side dish, then my new favourite dessert torta with ricotta, figs and salted caramel, divine! Awesome service and British industrial decor that reminds me of my beloved London. Go treat yourself! ”
“ a great restaurant not to be missed. Small menu with very intersting and complex flavours really well crafted by the team. Hands down the best food we‘ve had in a long time. Try the rosemary ice cream - it‘s divine! Another plus: the music! Rock classics that made my husband very happy. ”
“ We loved this place. Fantastic natural wine selection, super yummy food, and friendly welcoming service. Just over the wall from the papal garden, this out of the way place seemed to be a spot for locals. Beautiful interior with a great decoration. ”
“ This restaurant was a real star, Excellent modern creative dishes, using top-quality ingredients, Great wine list and service. At first glance Castel Gandolfo seems like a tourist trap, with one Main Street packed with overcrowded restaurants leading up to the Popes Summer Residence (Which is spectacular and well worth a visit) But move one street back and you’ll discover Tinello -With its spacious interior - great, modern design and knowledgeable staff - along with a huge, interesting wine list. And the prices are reasonable. We had some amazing seafood and delicious vegetarian options - Well worth a visit. ”
“ Ottimo cibo, vino ed ambiente. Accoglio e servizio molto gentile. This was a great find, just off the much more touristy main drag. Staff were attentive and gave excellent reccomendations of which wine to pair with the food (which was just right - good ingredients, well prepared and beautifully presented). I'm a fan already, and will come back next time I'm in Castelgandolfo. ”
“ A relatively hip place for this little town with a some unique things on the menu. Good food and wine ”
